Founded in 2014, LifeSaver CPR was created when a need was recognized for easy to find, competitively priced, and enjoyable CPR classes. LifeSaver CPR is owned by Brandon & Katie Holmes. Brandon & Katie both serve as first responders in West Michigan. Our classes bring real world experiences and are taught by active first responders who use the skills we teach on a daily basis. LifeSaver CPR is committed to and strives for exceptional customer care.
Meet the LifeSaver CPR Team
Brandon has an extensive business background and started in EMS in 2011 when he joined a local Fire Department. In 2012 Brandon became an EMT with American Medical Response and obtained his paramedic license in 2013. Brandon worked as full time paramedic until 2019 when he accepted a role as a full time firefighter. Brandon still currently works as a paramedic and an instructor for AMR teaching ACLS, PALS, BLS, and PHTLS. In 2014 Brandon saw a need and started LifeSaver CPR. Brandon prides himself on delivering exceptional customer service and high quality education.
Katie began working in the medical field in 2008 where she found a passion for helping people. Katie worked in the ER for 7 years before starting in EMS. In 2016 Katie obtained her paramedic license and began working at AMR. In 2017 Katie began teaching new EMT’s and paramedics that were getting into the field. Katie obtained her instructor certifications for ACLS, PALS, BLS, and PHTLS in 2019. Katie eventually went part time so she could help grow the business with Brandon. Katie has a passion for teaching others and providing high quality standards in EMS and education.
Buzz has had an amazing career in EMS for the past 40 years. Buzz started as an EMT for the City of Grand Rapids then became a Paramedic with Life EMS. Shortly after that Buzz moved to Mercy ambulance which eventually became AMR. in 2000 Buzz obtained his teaching certificate and began teaching EMT and Paramedic school. While teaching the first responders Buzz began teaching CPR and First Aid. Not only is Buzz a fantastic teacher with a wealth of knowledge, He has some of the most amazing stories from his incredible career. Buzz simply states “I love teaching”.
Kevin started his career in 1977 with the Kent County Sheriff’s department. He eventually moved to serve with the Lowell Police/Rescue team and also was part of the Ada Fire Department. Kevin worked at Amway in Protection services for 40 years. Kevin is a natural servant to his community and currently works on the Saranac Community Fire Department as an EMT/Fire fighter. Kevin absolutely loves teaching CPR and first aid.
